Highlights of the platform include maximum class sizes for Island schools; ending the provincial assessment program, redirecting staff and resources back into the classroom; putting wireless internet access in all Island schools within first year of taking office; reinstating elected school boards to be scheduled with other elections to increase voter turnout; and increasing the George Coles Bursary to $5,000.
