Lantz releases platform costing

CHARLOTTETOWN – Progressive Conservative Party Leader Rob Lantz today  released costing figures for his party’s platform which are half of the amount promised to date by Liberal leader Wade MacLauchlan.

Lantz announced that the cost of his party’s platform is projected at approximately $18 million including both operating and capital expenditures.

The cost of promises made by Liberal leader Wade MacLauchlan are projected to cost $55 million including both operating and capital expenditures. This is in addition to the $58.3 million in unbudgeted spending approved by the Ghiz and MacLauchlan Cabinets from January 20th to March 31st of this year.

    • Ending parking fees at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
    • Extending wifi to all Island schools and hospitals.
    • Major governance reforms to increase accountability, transparency and open government
