PC Party Hosts Town Hall Meeting

Charlottetown - Interest in Island politics is on the rise as the PC Party seeks a new Leader and the Provincial Government approaches the mid-point of its electoral mandate. Closure of certain Island schools, e-gaming and funding for health care are just a few of the issues that have captured the attention of Islanders.

To discuss these and other matters the Charlottetown Area Districts of the PC Association of PEI are sponsoring a Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, March 7 at 7:00PM at Park Royal United Church, 11 Christie Drive, Charlottetown. “It is important that Islanders are not only kept up to date but have a forum to express their views on issues that are important to them,” states Pat Banks, President of the PC Party.

Guest speakers will be Steven Myers, Opposition critic for Education, Early Learning and Culture and James Aylward, Opposition critic for Health and Wellness, and Chair of the Public Accounts Committee.  “Steven Myers and James Aylward are experienced members of the Legislature and they will provide informed comment on Island issues,” says Pat Banks. “We look forward to the attendance of the public at this meeting.”
